I am a UK-based Chinese illustrator. And I enjoy storytelling through overlapping colour blocks and line textures, working across editorial illustration, surface design, and picture books.

As a member of Generation Z, I am interested in the intersection between identity construction in adolescents and the online world, particularly the formation of virtual self-identity.

​

While daily observation is my main source of inspiration, I enjoy expressing ideas through visual metaphors in the form of animals and mythical creatures. Fish is a key motif in my work, representing courage and peace. I also use fish as an avatar in online social spaces and illustrations.

I enjoy solving visual problems across a wide range of projects through illustration. During my time at Arts University Bournemouth, my work was selected for the cover design and editorial illustrations of the Bournemouth Journal. I have also contributed to picture books for primary school students as part of the volunteer team “The Bank of DREAMS & NIGHTMARES.”

I am also interested in screen printing and hope to establish my own shop in the future.
